We’ve always thought that the Greyhound Coaching Inn at Lutterworth is very conveniently positioned just 2 minutes from J20 of M1 and 5 minutes from J1 of M6 near to Rugby. The A5 is even closer.

For travellers using the M69 the Greyhound is 10 minutes from J1 at Hinckley, straight down the A5 to Lutterworth (10 minutes)from where you can follow the Brown Tourist signs. For any traveller(s) whether business or pleasure, heading North or South, the Greyhound Coaching Inn is actually so convenient it surprised even us!

Visiting the NEC, Ricoh Arena, Stoneycove Diving Centre, Stanford Hall, Donnington Race Track, Mallory Park, Coombe Abbey, and a multitude of other places….the Greyhound Coaching Inn is perfectly positioned to be convenient for your over-night stay and evening meal and your on-ward journey because the hotel is situated on the meeting point of the M1, M6, A14, M5 and M69.

Heading south to London for the weekend and need a half way point (or North from London)? At J20 of M1 the Greyhound Coaching Inn is an ideal venue to recharge your batteries, enjoy some lunch (or our famous Sunday carvery) or for evening travellers, enjoy an evening meal in our restaurant and a good night’s sleep in one of our 34 ensuite bedrooms.

For travelling business people who need to meet clients or business colleagues ‘in-between’ your business premises – the Greyhound offers plenty of space for informal business meetings or as a venue for a sales meeting, business meeting or conference. There’s amply parking at the rear of the hotel – just follow the Brown Tourist signs from any direction you enter Lutterworth.

So next time your travelling around the Midlands and you’re in the vicinity of the M1, M6, A14, A5, M69 – visit the Greyhound Coaching Inn in Lutterworth, 2 minutes from J20 M1. We’d be delighted to see you!

Recommendation by Gluten-Free-Onthego

Thursday, April 17th, 2008

In-house chefs Steve Dennis and Will Smith have been quietly catering for special dietary needs for years. One of their customers now believes everyone else should know how Steve and Will take care of his severe gluten intolerance. Stephen Cross is so pleased with the attention he receives in the Restaurant that he has recommended The Greyhound to the website Gluten-Free-Onthego.com, an online resource for coeliac’s where they can find great places to eat that will cater for their needs.

“I have finally found a safe haven to eat out where my severe gluten intolerance is not only recognized and understood but blissfully catered for,” commented Stephen. “So many places do not even have a clue as to the meaning of the term celiac. I have no hesitation in recommending that you give The Greyhound a try. At this charming venue where the food is always excellent and the menu varied, the staff are absolutely lovely and nothing is too much trouble. I cannot speak too highly of The Greyhound Coaching Inn.”

Whatever your special dietary needs, speak to our in-house chefs, Steve and Will – they’ll be only too happy to accommodate you and provide a well-thought and delicious meal that is specific to your food intolerance or dietary needs.
