The Bar
Informal and comfortable meeting in the Bar and Courtyard
The Bar is a welcoming, comfortable, and relaxing place with tables and chairs, and plenty of standing room at the bar. Further seating is available opposite the reception and in the snug.
The Bar and lounge is open all day, every day for hot and cold beverages. There is plenty of choice for wines and spirits, and a great selection of real ale and whiskies.
When the weather permits, there is seating outside in the beautiful surroundings of the courtyard.
We do not currently serve food unless for private functions.

Whisky Galore
The bar at The Greyhound is stocked high with Whisky. We have the most extensive collection of whiskies anywhere in Leicestershire. There are over 200 Malt Whiskies, some up to 21 years old, as well as Bourbons and a bargain whisky shelf.
Next time you visit, why not have a dram?

18th-century courtyard
The 18th-century courtyard is the central feature of The Greyhound Coaching Inn. The original brickwork has been carefully renovated and restored during the extensive refurbishment of the Hotel. The traditional courtyard provides the main entrance to the Hotel under the original archway, which defines the building as a Coaching Inn.
During the summer months, the courtyard provides a pleasant atmosphere and beautiful setting in which to relax, and it has been used on many occasions for outdoor entertaining, summer BBQs, weddings, and parties.
From the courtyard, you will find the main entrance to the Hotel, Reception, Lounge and Bar.
